In Progress: London Walled Garden
An elegant garden with classical style combined with a contemporary edge. The main terrace is divided by the wisteria pergola which frames the antique copper water feature - a focal point when entering the garden and providing the meditative sound of water when relaxing on the terrace. The productive garden is big enough to sustain a family of 2 and is separated by rows of espalier fruit trees trained on stainless steel wires. The fire pit, below the ancient False Acacia tree is positioned for morning sun and evening conversations while the sweeping lawn is engulfed in designer meadow planting with multi-stemmed Cornus kousa dotted through for the eye to follow. The existing micro woodland is surrounded by further ornamental trees set within meadow and provides privacy for the Ceramics Studio.
