In Progress:Green Shady Garden, Hackney
This north facing rear garden is ideal for lush textural planting. Height and interest is created by small trees with architectural trunks and leaf forms together with multi-stem shrubs and textural ground cover of varying heights to give the feeling of being transported out of London and into your own garden sanctuary.
There is seating / dining space for the family in the shade with moveable chairs that could be positioned in the sun when needed.
Plants obscuring the view to the back of the garden from the sliding doors of the property create intrigue; The taller plants are deciduous here to allow more light into the property in the winter.
