Dan Hartley Gardens was commissioned to design a bespoke garden setting for Bull & Stein sculptures at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2025.

The installation was created to showcase the sculptures within a carefully considered landscape, combining natural materials, planting and spatial design to create an immersive backdrop that enhances the artwork.

The design draws on Dan Hartley’s approach of bringing together horticulture, sculpture and garden design to create outdoor spaces with atmosphere, character and a strong sense of place. A refined planting palette, thoughtful composition and considered detailing allowed the sculptures to sit naturally within the landscape, demonstrating how art can become an integral part of garden design.

Designed specifically for the Chelsea Flower Show environment, the stand created a calm and engaging garden experience, highlighting the relationship between contemporary sculpture and planting design.
